Are you ready to learn the tried and true organizing secrets of the pro’s?
Well here it is… using multi-functional decorations that do more than decorate!
Using home decor that can serve a purpose plus looks beautiful in your home, is what we look for. This is our way to get rid of visual clutter.
Yet how we keep things we might want close but yet not have them out or in the way when they are not needful or wanted.
SO here is a list of 5 things to consider bring into your spaces…
Trays
-
Trays –are so versatile and not to much of expense for all they offer. They help organize by corralling items together. They create a great “grounding”element for your décor. And help add texture as they come in so many choices wooden, metal, woven, and more. Not to mention all the colors. There is just so much you can do with these in almost any space. From bedrooms to bathrooms. So many choices.
Baskets
-
Baskets – for holding pillows, blankets, toys, shoes, the possibilities are endless, as well as your style choices. From metal to wood, they not only store, and organize, they bring little touches of style and warmth to your spaces. They can be used as “under-storage” when you use them under another large piece of furniture. They can be used on bookcases, dressers. You name it! With all your options from inexpensive to one of kind, your choices are truly endless! And this is definitely one of my “go-to’s” for clients!
Shelves
-
Shelves –not only do these workhorses give you a great place to organize your books, and like items but talk about adding style, a place to add of touch of ‘you’ or life. Stacy absolutely nails this style so well! And, I absolutely love that you can go big and bold like she did, or keep it simple. It’s a fabulous way to really use your vertical space and add so much to your home or office.
Storage Coffee Tables or Ottomans
-
Storage Coffee Tables or Ottomans– from the family game center to toys, to books and magazines and beyond, this is another great option. It can be closed so you don’t see anything or open and become part of your décor with baskets doing “under-storage” to hold like things together.
-
Also, a great place to hold pillows, and blankets.
-
Truly your possibilities are endless and it’s a good reason we PO’s and décor lovers have such great respect for these marvels.
Storage Bins
And last, but definitely not least, my personal favorite and major “go-to” …

Storage Bins – from metal, to wicker, fabric,to rope. Bins come in all sizes, colors, and styles. This are a great way to create zones for your room to operate in a variety of ways all while keeping the clutter at bay, Easy clean up, and easy to re-home. They can be used as “under-storage” when you use them under another large piece of furniture. They can be used on bookcases, dressers. You name it!
